In this role, you will manage research initiatives, coordinate our participation with educational programs, identify external funding sources, guide teams in grant proposal creation, and cultivate collaborative relationships with higher education entities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Formulate strategic initiatives and partnerships with post-secondary educational institutions Conduct thorough research to pinpoint external funding opportunities from universities, government bodies, corporations, and philanthropic organizations Build alliances and collaborative relationships with foundations, governmental organizations, universities, and community agencies Identify suitable public and private competitive funding opportunities at local, state, and national levels Collaborate with educators and administrators to assess school and district needs that may qualify for grant funding Oversee and manage all grant proposals for the school district Obtain necessary approvals from the School Board for competitive grant submissions as required by policy Support the administration of grant funding, including tutoring programs Assist in coordinating alternative professional development programs Aid in the process for recognizing outstanding educators Provide editing and writing assistance to staff for grant and award submissions Participate in strategic planning committees Manage state and federal grants, including educational programs and relief funds Collaborate effectively with the leadership team Engage in practices that promote an inclusive educational environment Perform other duties as assigned by the superintendent

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field Demonstrated understanding of state and federal educational requirements Knowledge of the significance of school accreditation and the ability to work collaboratively with staff to meet standards Exceptional written, verbal, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Familiarity with grant application processes and proficiency in writing grant proposals Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership abilities Understanding of the role of technology in research and education Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite Commitment to maintaining confidentiality Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines Skills in facilitating educational presentations and discussions Initiative and capability to work independently Competence in delivering presentations to large audiences Reliability and punctuality in completing tasks without direct supervision

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Proven experience in educational administration related to Grants and Partnerships Strong knowledge of K-12 public education or experience as an educator or school administrator Doctorate degree in Education or Business Administration Current Virginia Postgraduate Professional license with Administration/Supervisory endorsement

SALARY: $98, $177,588.94, based on experience. Includes benefits.
