Position Details:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Architectural Construction Administrator. This role presents an exciting chance for professionals with relevant experience who desire a hybrid work schedule. The successful candidate will engage in a variety of projects, including multi-family residential, commercial, and institutional buildings. A solid understanding of construction processes, building codes, and architectural design principles is essential. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage construction projects from start to finish.
  2. Analyze and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure adherence to design standards and building regulations.
  3. Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to fulfill project requirements.
  4. Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify potential challenges, and implement solutions.
  5. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, budgets, and change orders.
  6. Ensure compliance with established safety standards and regulations throughout all construction activities.
  7. Participate in project meetings and provide updates on architectural construction progress, challenges, and resolutions.
  8. Conduct evaluations post-construction to assess work quality and identify areas for enhancement.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field, or significant experience in a Construction Administration role.
  2. A minimum of 7 years of experience in architectural construction administration, particularly in multi-family residential projects.
  3. In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  4. Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
  5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of making informed decisions under pressure.
  7. Detail-oriented and organized, with the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  8. A proactive work approach, with the ability to foresee potential issues and implement effective solutions.
  9. Professional registration as an Architect or Construction Manager is preferred.
