Position Overview:

As a Construction Project Coordinator at Vericon Construction, you will oversee the effective planning and execution of building projects, guiding them from initial stages through to completion while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role is crucial in fostering collaboration among various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Project Management Responsibilities:

  • Engage in all stages of the construction process – including cost estimation, subcontractor selection, scheduling, scope assessment, budgeting, execution, and project closeout.
  • Work closely with the Project Management Team to align resources, subcontractors, and suppliers effectively.
  • Assist in addressing unexpected challenges that may arise during the construction phase.
  • Promote and uphold safety standards and regulations on construction sites.
  • Help monitor project milestones and ensure compliance with timelines.
  • Support the oversight of project expenses and budget management.

Communication & Documentation Duties:

  • Assist the Project Management Team, both on-site and remotely, by participating in project meetings, documenting minutes, and tracking materials.
  • Ensure the maintenance and distribution of precise project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and status updates.
  • Facilitate clear communication among project team members, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline; or equivalent technical training/experience in a similar field.
  • Basic technical proficiency in interpreting architectural and MEP drawings and relevant contract documents.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a capacity to engage and collaborate across all organizational levels.
  • Highly organized and efficient in managing tasks.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to work.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and Procore (preferred).
