About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Manager to join our team at DEKA Research & Development in Manchester, NH.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work on the development of groundbreaking medical devices. As a Junior Engineering Project Manager, you will assist in daily project activities, manage resource conflicts, resolve roadblocks, and uphold high performance standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily project activities to achieve results, including solving technical challenges and managing resource conflicts.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and technical team leaders to identify, plan, and drive deliverables.
  • Help define and manage task priorities based on high-level project goals and constraints.
  • Collaborate with project team leaders to define and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure overall product quality meets DEKA's standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering with a minimum of 3+ years' experience in a regulated environment (medical preferred).
  • 1+ years' experience with electro-mechanical devices with embedded software.
  • Organizational and coordination skills with a detail-oriented mindset and ability to juggle multiple activities.
  • High energy, drive, commitment, self-initiative, and perseverance to drive projects forward to completion.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a desire to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to communicate technically with various engineering disciplines.
