Medical Device Test Engineering Director

Key Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor a team of Test Engineers and Technicians to develop comprehensive test suites that verify the functionality of cutting-edge medical products
- Collaborate with Project Managers, System Engineers, and other technical leads to plan and execute project objectives
- Develop robust test plans, strategies, and reports to drive product development forward
- Determine if product requirements are complete and testable
- Evaluate the impact of design changes on testing and approve or reject such changes
- Participate in regulatory and agency submissions as needed
In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for assessing test impacts for design changes and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. Your exceptional leadership and technical expertise will enable you to create and clearly explain team objectives and write procedures for others to follow.
To be successful in this role, you will need a solid understanding of engineering fundamentals, demonstrated problem-solving abilities, and experience with data analysis. Additionally, knowledge of FDA Quality System Regulations (QSRs) and/or ISO 13485 is preferred.
