Job Summary:

The Training Manager will oversee the development and delivery of comprehensive training programs for Compass Community Services staff. This role will work closely with the People and Culture Team to identify training needs and develop curricula that support staff growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training programs for staff across the organization
  • Work with staff to identify shared training needs and interests
  • Coordinate regular workshops on topics relevant to direct service staff
  • Establish a training program for managers, with a focus on new manager development
  • Ensure every staff member has an up-to-date training and development plan
  • Create and update onboarding curricula for new hires
  • Lead the Training Committee and plan monthly organization-wide Training Days

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience as a Training Coordinator, Training Manager, or in a similar role
  • Excellent public speaking and facilitation skills
  • Experience developing training curriculums or plans
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to Compass Community Services' work with at-risk families
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on new projects
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging work

Benefits:

  • $43-$50 hourly / $85K-$98K annually

Location and Covid Safety:

This is primarily an on-site role with the option to work remotely one day per week after the first three months. Covid vaccination is required for all staff.
