Director of Attorney Training and Development

Fenwick is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our legal training and development initiatives. As Director of Attorney Training and Development, you will oversee a team responsible for designing and delivering training programs that enhance the skills and competencies of our attorneys.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive training strategies that align with the firm's strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with practice group leaders and other stakeholders to identify training needs and design programs that meet those needs.
- Manage a team of training professionals to deliver high-quality training programs and events.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of training materials, including curricula, presentations, and assessments.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including CLE requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with external consultants, coaches, and speakers to enhance our training offerings.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in the field of talent development.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a law firm setting, with a focus on training and development.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing effective training programs.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with attorneys and staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

The anticipated range for this position is: $168,000 - $251,250. Depending on the role, the actual base salary offered may depend upon a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
A discretionary bonus for eligible employees may also be available based on performance. Additional information about employee eligibility for benefits and discretionary bonus will be made available upon request.
