Role Overview
The Partnerships team at Plaid is focused on establishing impactful relationships with technology platforms, enabling broader access to our innovative solutions. As a Partnerships Manager, you will oversee a dedicated team, driving business development efforts within the Banking and Wealth sectors. Your role will encompass the entire lifecycle of partner engagement, from identifying key targets to negotiating complex agreements and fostering growth.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of partner account executives to achieve strategic objectives.
- Deal Management: Oversee all phases of the partner deal cycle, ensuring alignment and execution with cross-functional teams.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including sales and product teams, to enhance partner growth and address scaling needs.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain robust partnerships, focusing on business strategy and product integration.
- Growth Strategy: Drive partner success through critical milestones, from initial integration to expanding product offerings.
- Minimum of 8 years in business development, partnerships, or enterprise sales within a high-growth environment.
- Demonstrated success in managing and expanding large partner relationships with significant revenue impact.
- Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
- Strategic mindset with a comprehensive approach to partner program development.
- Experience in managing teams is advantageous.
- Background in banking or financial services, along with B2B technology experience, is highly desirable.
Compensation and Benefits
The target base salary for this position ranges from $149,472 to $254,880 annually, complemented by potential equity and commission opportunities. Plaid offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans.
