Position Overview

We are looking for a proficient and committed SailPoint L2 Operations Support Engineer to become a vital part of our Identity and Access Management (IAM) division at Infoways. This position demands a robust technical foundation in SailPoint and IAM principles, outstanding problem-solving capabilities, and a dedication to upholding a secure and efficient IAM ecosystem.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver support for SailPoint IdentityIQ, encompassing troubleshooting, incident management, and service requests.
  • Oversee user identities, roles, and access rights within the SailPoint framework.
  • Investigate and resolve challenges related to identity provisioning, de-provisioning, and access control.
  • Collaborate with development teams and other stakeholders to ensure prompt resolution of incidents and service requests.
  • Monitor system performance and health, ensuring optimal availability and functionality of the SailPoint platform.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of support processes, configurations, and operational methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance of all IAM processes with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory mandates.
  • Proactively identify and implement enhancements for process improvement and automation within the IAM structure.

Customize workflows, forms, rules, roles, policies, reports, and certifications.

  • Develop and sustain workflows for various Lifecycle Events (Joiner, Leaver, Mover, Rehire, and Inactive).
  • Assist in program development, user acceptance testing, user access reviews, system documentation, and implementation.

Actively pursue innovative methods to automate and eliminate repetitive tasks, reducing human error and enhancing security posture.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience:
    • 7-10 years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) operations.
    • A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in SailPoint IdentityIQ installation, configuration, and administration.
    • Solid understanding of IAM concepts, including identity lifecycle management, role-based access control (RBAC), and least privilege principles.
    • Familiarity with directory services (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP).
    • Basic knowledge of databases (SQL, Oracle) and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, JavaScript).
  • Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP are advantageous.

Note:

This role requires availability for 24/7 support. The successful candidate will participate in an on-call rotation to address critical issues outside of standard working hours.
