Position Title: SailPoint Admin / SailPoint Engineer / IAM Admin / IAM Engineer (L2 Support - SailPoint Operations)

Number of Openings: 1

Work Arrangement: Onsite in Baltimore, Maryland (Full-time, 5 days a week)

Contract Duration: Long-Term

Essential Qualifications: A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IAM administration and operational support, with expertise in SailPoint IdentityIQ, including installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and service requests. Familiarity with IAM concepts such as identity lifecycle management, role-based access control (RBAC), and least privilege principles is essential. Relevant certifications are advantageous.

Position Summary: We are in search of a proficient SailPoint L2 Operations Support Engineer to enhance our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. This role demands a robust technical foundation in SailPoint and IAM principles, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a dedication to sustaining a secure and efficient IAM framework.

Important Note: This position requires 24/7 availability. The successful candidate will participate in an on-call rotation to address urgent issues outside standard working hours.

Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.

Experience Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) operations.
  • A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ.

Technical Expertise:

  • Proficient in the installation, configuration, and administration of SailPoint IdentityIQ.
  • Strong comprehension of IAM concepts, including identity lifecycle management, role-based access control (RBAC), and least privilege principles.
  • Familiarity with directory services (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP).
  • Basic understanding of databases (SQL, Oracle) and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, JavaScript).
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Certifications such as SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for SailPoint IdentityIQ, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, and service requests.
  • Manage user identities, roles, and access permissions within the SailPoint platform.
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to identity provisioning, de-provisioning, and access management.
  • Collaborate with development teams and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
  • Monitor system performance and health, ensuring high availability and performance of the SailPoint platform.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of support processes, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure compliance of all IAM processes with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the IAM framework.
  • Customize workflows, forms, rules, roles, policies, reports, and certifications.
  • Build and maintain workflows for various Lifecycle Events (Joiner, Leaver, Mover, Rehire, and Inactive).
  • Assist in program development, user acceptance testing, user access reviews, system documentation, and implementation.
  • Seek innovative ways to automate and eliminate repetitive tasks to enhance security posture.
