POSITION SUMMARY
As a Strategic Business Growth Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within your designated sales territory. Your role will involve analyzing the financial needs of potential clients and presenting tailored solutions that enhance their financial well-being.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage in proactive prospecting activities to develop and nurture relationships with potential clients, aiming to boost new business acquisition in your region.
- Meet and exceed annual production targets and revenue goals set by management, while providing regular updates on your progress.
- Maintain detailed records of all sales activities using the designated reporting system.
- Conduct outreach to prospective clients, utilizing a strategic approach to identify their needs and match them with appropriate products and services for cross-selling opportunities.
- Build and maintain referral networks through community involvement and partnerships with civic and philanthropic organizations.
- Collaborate with management to strategize on business development initiatives.
- Work closely with Relationship Managers to ensure a seamless transition of new clients after closing deals.
- Stay vigilant to customer needs and make timely referrals to other departments as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of a high school diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in commercial banking is essential.
- A minimum of 3 years in sales and marketing roles is required.
- Must be in compliance with the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (Safe Act) and be registered with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, or be eligible for registration.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Proficient in MS Office and database applications.
- Strong understanding of banking products and services relevant to the target client segment.
- Knowledge of commercial credit policies and banking operations.
- Excellent credit analysis and accounting skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

COMPENSATION
This role operates on a commission-based structure, with the potential for significant earnings based on performance.
