Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Levare USA. As a key member of our Engineering R&D department, you will be responsible for developing and sustaining electrical products that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and conduct work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
  • Devise new approaches to problems encountered and develop innovative solutions for industry challenges.
  • Work as a key resource in the Engineering R&D department, generating ideas and engineering solutions for complex projects.
  • Collaborate with vendors or customers for joint product development or project-related work.
  • Work on multiple projects, taking responsibility for on-time and on-budget delivery of proven design solutions.
  • Perform analysis to verify the effectiveness and suitability of proposed design solutions.
  • Exercise judgment in making selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives and in making decisions about project management and scheduling.
  • Generate test plans and contribute to test equipment design verification.
  • Carry out necessary test programs to ensure the reliability and sustainability of products.
  • Compile engineering reports and present data to the management team.
  • Work within defined parameters to make decisions and apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity.
  • Resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
  • Identify customer requirements and attend customer meetings.
  • Work on internal design activities and technical decisions, participating in design reviews with the engineering team.
  • Generate Bill of Material for assigned projects and prepare Quality Control Plans.
  • Adhere to engineering hours allocated to the job and drawing lists to be submitted to customers.
  • Support fabrication of equipment, including troubleshooting, product improvement, and product inspection.
  • Personally observe safety and security procedures and proper use of equipment and material.
  • Actively promote safety processes and report any safety issues to proper channels for action.
  • Support existing VFDs and evaluate competitor drives to maintain industry leadership with drive capabilities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
  • 60 months of experience with industrial control industry, variable speed drives (VSDs), SCADA, and engineering/project management.
  • Experience working with Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) applications, field service, sales support, and technical writing.
  • Proficiency in Baker Advance Drive coding and operations with induction and permanent magnet motors, VFD application, field service, product documentation, and enhancements.
  • 10% international and domestic travel required.
