  5. Evaluate performance trends, identify inefficiencies in workflows, propose and devise solutions, ensure implementation, and monitor effectiveness to uphold internal financial controls that protect the organization's assets while supporting rapid growth and cost efficiency.
  6. Oversee the accuracy and establishment of standard costs for labor overhead and bill of materials, including material usage, pricing, routings, and time consumption.
  7. Lead the cycle count process and ensure timely adjustments to inventory as discrepancies arise.
  8. Ensure the accuracy of all cost accounting and financial analysis reports; monitor relevant key performance indicators and review rate, volume, mix, efficiency, spending, and usage variances.
  9. Work closely with the Controller and senior management to devise and implement ongoing cost-saving strategies, benchmarking, and the integration of new practices and manufacturing methodologies.
  10. Engage in the global exchange of best practices, including the development and documentation of cost accounting policies and internal controls.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Solid understanding of cost accounting principles and methodologies related to product costing, bills of material, manufacturing routings, and inventory management.
  • Proficient in GAAP and possess a comprehensive understanding of accounting systems and procedures.
  • Experience with planning, budgeting, and cost control concepts and methodologies.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to foster clarity and understanding.
  • A mindset geared towards continuous improvement, with a natural ability to identify opportunities and potential challenges while engaging relevant team members in finding and implementing solutions.
  • Capability to influence and positively reinforce quality work among colleagues and partners, leading by example.

Compensation:

$90,000/year or higher based on experience; includes 401K with match, health and dental insurance, long-term disability and life insurance, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). Flexible remote work options available based on business needs.
