Essential Job Responsibilities:

1. Refine project plan that include deliverables, work breakdown structure, stakeholder list, roles and responsibilities, dependencies, detailed project plan and timelines to meet business objectives and regulatory deadlines.

2. Lead project team in project execution, ensuring compliance with standard project management methodologies.

3. Establish and maintain formal controls to manage and monitor project scope, quality and schedule to ensure project is completed on time and effectively. Negotiate necessary project changes with project sponsor. Maintain, adjust and update project plans as needed.

Transportation Electrification has 14 individuals who are program developers, program managers or a data analyst and work on implementing Transportation Electrification customer programs. This role will be working with this team and other core partners on refining, writing, editing, and updating a 3-year Transportation Electrification plan according to PUC Division 87 regulators.

What would "a day in the life" of this role look like?

Scheduling meetings, running meetings, gathering data needed for the Transportation Electrification plan, analyzing the right fit, and ensuring new processes or systems work for Transportation Electrification plan creation and tracking the program success after PUC approval.

What interaction level with this role have the team members and hiring manager?

A lot of interaction with team members and weekly meetings with strategic planning lead and bi-weekly meetings with managers of Transportation Electrification and Strategic Planning teams.

What would you say is the top priority for the worker over the first few weeks/months?

Reviewing the current Transportation Electrification plan, reviewing the 2025 Transportation Electrification project plan and learning the various stages with key stakeholders and then holding a kickoff meeting.

What do you foresee being the biggest challenge in this role?

Learning the internal teams and what they do. Getting timely data and responses from multiple teams and individuals.
