Position Summary:
We are currently looking for an Outside Plant Quality Control Engineer to join our team remotely. This role focuses on ensuring quality control in the permitting and right-of-way processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed engineering tasks related to outside plant facilities, including estimating, analyzing, designing, and planning.
- Track budgets and compare estimates against actual costs for various installations such as copper and fiber cables, poles, and conduit systems.
- Prepare and interpret engineering plans, drawings, and reports.
- Design field-mounted switch serving areas and perform measurements to support company and industry standards.
- Develop and monitor specific job budgets and conduct periodic inspections for quality assurance.
- Organize and prepare permit packages for submission to relevant authorities, maintaining comprehensive records and files.

Qualifications:
- Proficient in identifying existing voice/data plant and utilities on site plans and in the field.
- Knowledgeable in obtaining necessary right-of-ways and easements.
- Capable of engineering routine and complex work orders, including road moves.
- Expertise in COE/OSP principles, work order procedures, and industry standards.
- Familiarity with the National Electric Safety Code (NESC) for engineering requirements.
- Must possess personal tools such as measuring wheels and laptops.
