About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Support Specialist to join our team at SNC-Lavalin. As a key member of our project controls team, you will be responsible for providing critical support to our project management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process purchase orders and change requests in our project management system, adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • Provide timely status updates for change order requests, creating or updating reports within our project management software.
  • Collaborate with project controls, project management, finance, and operations personnel to expedite and track purchase and change order status.
  • Assist in the review of change orders in accordance with our client's approval process.
  • Assist in the review and monitoring of invoices for the project.
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of a change order log.
  • Assist in the review of contractor closeout documents.
  • Facilitate and manage data inputs and changes across multiple projects under strict deadlines.
  • Help organize financial meetings to review change order status.
  • Prepare cost reconciliation between two or more estimates and explain variance cost drivers.
  • Act as a liaison between our clients and trade contractors.
