Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive training program for both entry-level and experienced production technicians and stagehands.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify training requirements; design, plan, and deliver educational content focused on audio, lighting, video, carpentry, and staging.
- Conduct on-site performance evaluations to ensure training effectiveness.
- Support the recruitment and development of a skilled workforce by evaluating candidates from both internal and external sources.
- Create, implement, and facilitate training initiatives that comply with health and safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Review and enhance existing training materials to boost engagement and learning outcomes, adapting to the evolving needs of the industry.
- Stay informed about new training methodologies and industry standards to maintain the relevance and accuracy of training programs.
- Identify opportunities for improvement within operational processes through targeted training initiatives.
- Ensure that training objectives and milestones are achieved, providing recommendations for skill enhancements.
- Organize training sessions and maintain accurate documentation.
- Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- In-depth understanding of training methodologies and evaluation techniques.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness.
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols in live event production.
- Proficient understanding of audio/visual and staging equipment, with a preference for expertise.

Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in live event production.
- At least 3 years of experience in training and supervising production staff, with a focus on safety training.
- OSHA authorized Construction or General Industry Outreach Trainer certification is preferred.
- Previous experience in event or production management is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in various environments, including field locations and office settings.
- Must be capable of standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and sitting for extended periods.
- Requires manual dexterity and the ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds.
- Vision capabilities must include color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
- Work environment may be noisy and subject to outdoor conditions.
