Job Overview

The Sales and Events Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role within the Sales, Events, & Marketing Department. This position requires a blend of teamwork, project management, community engagement, and administrative assistance. As the primary contact for events and gatherings, the specialist will aid in the planning and successful execution of various events, parties, and meetings for Lodge Management Group. This role also involves implementing the company's marketing initiatives. It is a dynamic position that encompasses marketing, social media, promotions, and onsite event support. Flexibility and availability for evening and weekend shifts are essential.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this position, candidates must be legally permitted to work in environments where alcoholic beverages are served. Availability for shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays, is required. Specific blackout dates for time-off requests may apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support all activities related to the development and execution of marketing strategies and brand initiatives.
  • Create engaging content for social media platforms, including Instagram Reels and TikToks.
  • Assist in the implementation of a cohesive content strategy that aligns with Lodge Management Group's vision across various channels.
  • Conduct market research and stay informed about business and market trends.
  • Initiate and participate in local clubs and events.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of venues and vendor offerings to clients, including conducting venue tours.
  • Coordinate event details with venue staff.
  • Oversee event management on the day of the event, including problem-solving, guest reception, directing setup, and liaising with staff and vendors.
  • Maintain a detailed inventory of event materials, including wristbands and signage.
  • Coordinate team sponsorships.
  • Assist in the planning, development, production, and delivery of marketing and communication materials.
  • Manage the communications calendar to ensure timely execution of marketing communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in social media or marketing communications, including content creation and editing for targeted audiences.
  • Proficient in marketing automation and social media publishing tools such as HubSpot, Pardot, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social.
  • Exceptional writing and editing capabilities, with the ability to adapt to the style and tone of various content types.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data from social media and email campaigns.
