Position Overview:

The Patient Services Coordinator I plays a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for patient families at CHLA. This position is responsible for various clerical tasks, including handling incoming calls, managing patient registration, overseeing check-in/out procedures, collecting co-pays or deductibles, and scheduling and confirming patient appointments.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical front office environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Exceptional telephone etiquette and the ability to interact effectively with the public.
  • Basic computer skills along with filing and organizational capabilities.

Education and Certifications: High school diploma or GED is required.

Compensation Information:

The salary range for this position is $33,904.00 to $53,581.00. CHLA values the unique contributions of each team member, and the final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will depend on various factors, including education and experience. We offer a competitive compensation package that acknowledges your qualifications, credentials, and educational background, alongside a comprehensive benefits program tailored to your needs.
