Position Overview:
The Patient Care Coordinator I plays a vital role in enhancing the patient and family experience at CHLA. This position involves performing essential administrative tasks, including:
  • Managing incoming calls and inquiries
  • Facilitating patient registration and check-in/out processes
  • Collecting patient co-pays and deductibles
  • Scheduling and confirming patient appointments


Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in a medical front office environment


Skills and Competencies:
Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred
  • Exceptional telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer proficiency, along with strong organizational abilities


Education and Certifications:
A high school diploma or GED is required for this position.


Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $33,904.00 to $53,581.00. CHLA values the unique contributions of each team member, and starting pay will be determined based on various factors, including education and relevant experience.
