Job Summary:
This position is responsible for verifying that all requested implants and instruments are prepared and ready for case. The successful candidate will utilize communication skills, knowledge of Zimmer Biomet products, and in-person meetings to assist current customers and secure potential customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Request and coordinate implants and instruments necessary to cover designated surgeries.
- Plan, coordinate, and ensure all implants and instruments are in place prior to case.
- Coordinate surgeon schedules and report on competitor and customer activities in the field.
- Build strong relationships with key surgeons and have the ability to cover Reconstructive, Extremities, CAS, Surgical, Sports Medicine, and Trauma procedures with clinical proficiency.
- Adhere to all policies and SOPs regarding interaction with HCPs, product handling, and complaints.
- Inform Sales Leaders about market potential, territory/customer concerns, and opportunities.
- Analyze sales/market data to assist in development of territory strategy.
- Develop relationships with internal support personnel and provide after-hour and/or evening case coverage.
- Collaborate with and provide sales support for team and/or territory, including transportation of Zimmer Biomet instruments and implants.
Requirements:
- Must be mobile and willing to travel.
- Willing and capable of carrying weights up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team is essential to the job.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Ability to complete tasks accurately and on time, paying close attention to detail.
- Communicate clearly in verbal and written form in English.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of an Associate's degree or medical certification required.
- Minimum of 0-3 years sales or sales service experience in medical device, surgical.
Travel Requirements:
- Up to 20%.
