Key Responsibilities
  • Cost of Care:
    • Verify pre-admission financial information and explain payment processes to responsible parties
    • Manage invoices, deposits, and annual rate increases
    • Prepare and reconcile accounts
    • Upload information into Filezilla
    • Schedule meetings with responsible parties regarding past due accounts
    • Process past due payment agreements and small claims court actions
    • Act as point of contact for Social Security and Medicaid specialists
  • Personal Funds:
    • Review and manage personal funds with responsible parties at admission
    • Reconcile monthly bank statements and balance personal funds
    • Replenish cash on hand and balance with the receptionist
  • Payroll:
    • Add new hires and remove terminated employees in Replicon
    • Correct daily punches and submit payroll
    • Manage daily budgeted hours and report to the Administrator
    • Submit corrected punch reports to the Regional and Administrator
    • Process payroll changes and act as point of contact for VSC Payroll Representative
  • FMLA:
    • Manage Family and Medical Leave Act-related tasks
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Some college and/or clerical experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Good financial understanding of Accounts Receivable/Payable and checkbook balancing
  • Good Human Resource understanding
  • Proven customer service skills and experience
  • Clear SBI and DMV record and ability to maintain during employment
  • No substantiated findings on the NC Health Care Personnel Registry
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn NC DHSR Adult Care Home Rules and Regulations
  • NC Adult Care Home Medication Aide Certification within 90 days of hire
  • CPR certification or obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Valid NC Driver's License
  • At least 8 years of driving experience, as required by company liability insurance carrier
