Disability Care Coordinator

We are seeking a compassionate Disability Care Coordinator to join our team at LanceSoft. This is a full-time contractor position with an estimated salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing short-term disability cases, facilitating employee transitions back to work, and providing support to employees with disabilities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage Short Term Disability by tracking claims and communicate case status to employees, supervisors/mangers, HRSource, Human Resources and healthcare providers.
  • Facilitate and be a resource to employees in a smooth transitional (modified) or full return to work assignments.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees with disabilities, including those related to occupational injuries and illnesses.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing and current RN license in New York State.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years relevant experience in case management, utilization review and/or quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in use of electronic medical record keeping systems desirable.
Technical Competencies

The successful candidate will need to have proficiency in HIPAA, ADA, FMLA, Workers' Compensation, and OSHA regulations.
