Job Overview

AHRC New York City is one of the largest providers of services for children and adults with developmental disabilities in New York City. Our mission is to advocate for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to lead full and equitable lives.

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Treatment Coordinator/QIDP for our Dickson-Goodman ICF residence in Manhattan. This position offers a competitive salary range of $55,000-$65,000 per year, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the training and habilitation program of assigned residents with residential staff, educational and vocational rehabilitation programs, and other needed services.
  • Act as a member of the interdisciplinary team to coordinate integration of various services in planning, implementation, and evaluation of individual treatment plans.
  • Generate Needs/Capabilities lists annually, with updates as needed, to ensure each assigned client receives adequate support and care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a human services-related field.
  • Basic knowledge of clinical areas relevant to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  • Good working knowledge of direct care responsibilities and ability to perform duties.
  • Leadership abilities and capacity to coordinate teams of clinical and management staff.
  • Excellent organizational skills and good writing ability.
  • Ability to deal tactfully, professionally, and effectively with residents, personnel, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.
