Position Overview:
The Electrical Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for executing repetitive testing preparations and conducting testing tasks that range from basic to moderate complexity. This role operates on the second shift (2pm-10:30pm).

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct visual inspections of products prior to testing to ensure compliance with established standards.
2. Verify the functionality of testing equipment and the test booth/cage.
3. Prepare products for testing by safely establishing the necessary connections.
4. Identify and segregate non-conforming components.
5. Accurately document actions by completing production and quality assurance forms.
6. Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to all relevant procedures, rules, and regulations.
7. Optimize resource usage by utilizing equipment and supplies efficiently.
8. Contribute to team efforts by mentoring colleagues in testing procedures as needed.
9. Review all work to ensure it meets quality requirements before passing it to subsequent operations.

Qualifications:
1. Proficient in the safe use of small hand and power tools.
2. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and bills of material.
3. Basic computer skills are essential.
4. Strong attention to detail, with the capability to work independently while following written instructions.

Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or GED, or a combination of relevant work experience and skill development is required. Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Physical Requirements:
This position is classified as Medium - Heavy Physical Demand Level (PDL) according to the US Department of Labor's Dictionary of Occupational Titles.
