GPM Truck Center is in search of an experienced Senior Heavy Vehicle Technician to enhance our team in North Aurora. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in engine diagnostics, preventive maintenance services, and structural repairs. Certification from Cummins is highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute engine diagnostics, preventive maintenance services, and structural repairs on heavy vehicles
  • Identify and troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical malfunctions
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance following manufacturer guidelines
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment to pinpoint and rectify issues
  • Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience in heavy vehicle maintenance
  • Proficient in engine diagnostics, preventive maintenance services, and structural repairs
  • Cummins certification is a plus
  • Competent in using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
