The Sales Manager role at D and H Distributing Co is a key position that requires a strong leader to drive sales growth and develop strategic relationships with partners and customers. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, working closely with the inside and outside sales teams, and collaborating with the marketing and buying groups to execute sales activities based on vendor initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a robust lead generation pipeline to support the continuous flow of new opportunities to sales.
- Develop and execute tactical outreach, referral generation, and pipelining efforts to drive sales growth.
- Document important customer opportunities and ensure action is taken to follow through on leads.
- Drive sales through internal and external marketing and vendor go-to-market strategies.
- Manage reseller performance and purchase to cover channel depth.
- Responsible for demand generation, building new sales opportunities, and closing project funnels.
- Engage with vendors and collaborate with internal and external sales teams to win projects.
- Establish good rapport and partnership with vendor and reseller account managers.
- Submit timely sales funnels to Division Manager and vendor's Channel Manager.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent required.
- Master's Degree in Business preferred.
- 3+ years of IT industry sales and/or marketing experience required.
- 7+ years of PC manufacturer B2B sales experience preferred.
This is a hybrid role with a preferred location in Harrisburg, PA, Tampa, FL, or surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong drive for results, a sense of urgency to achieve outcomes, and the ability to self-motivate, set goals, and meet deadlines. The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading, timeliness, professionalism, desire to learn, and willingness to contribute to continuous improvement.
