POSITION SUMMARY:

In a supervisory capacity, this role provides essential quality assurance support for the inspection of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products. The inspector is responsible for identifying, documenting, assessing, and proposing solutions to quality-related issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of in-process components using necessary measurement tools.
  • Examine received materials visually and review relevant material test reports for approval.
  • Prepare inspection reports and related documentation, ensuring electronic transfer where applicable.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATION CRITERIA:
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Must achieve and maintain ASNT TCIA Level I certification.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings for marking nomenclature and positioning.
  • Basic inspection skills, including knowledge of calipers and micrometers.
  • Mathematical proficiency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Familiarity with blueprints, charts, graphs, and customer specifications.
  • Basic computer literacy, including email, Word, and Excel.
  • Competence in typing for the preparation of electro etch stencils.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and conversing in English.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Ability to use a computer, phone, and other office equipment, including copiers and scanners.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and frequent walking.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
  • Some repetitive tasks may be required.
  • Physical effort may range from light to heavy.
  • Capability to lift and move up to 10 pounds frequently and occasionally over 20 pounds; assistance required for items over 30 pounds.
CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTS:

Due to contractual obligations, this position requires all candidates to provide proof of US Citizenship. Dual citizenship (US and another country) is not acceptable. Candidates must present original or certified copies of documents verifying their citizenship prior to consideration for this role.
