Shift Details- Shift: 3rd Shift / 12:00 AM - 8:15 AM
- Compensation: $22.00 per hour
The Quality Inspector plays a crucial role in maintaining quality control and assurance throughout the entire production process, from raw materials to the final product.
Qualifications- Experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- In-depth understanding of the products and processes being inspected.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software for report generation.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English effectively.
- Capability to follow multiple instructions simultaneously.
- Preferred emphasis on mathematics.
The Quality Inspector is entrusted with the following duties:
- Conduct routine visual inspections and specified tests on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products.
- Evaluate and approve raw materials based on established quality standards.
- Identify defects in materials and manufacturing processes through observation and testing.
- Utilize statistical methods to assess product samples for quality assurance before delivery.
- Compare inspection results with company quality standards and report findings for further analysis.
- Maintain logs, charts, and forms detailing quality levels and inspection data for review.
- Collaborate with supervisors to recommend actions for products that raise quality concerns.
- Keep accurate quality records as necessary.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
