Position Summary

The Quality Inspector plays a crucial role in maintaining quality control and assurance throughout the entire production process, from raw materials to the final product.

Qualifications
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is required.

Responsibilities

The Quality Inspector is entrusted with the following duties:

  • Conduct routine visual inspections and specified tests on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products.
  • Evaluate and approve raw materials based on established quality standards.
  • Identify defects in materials and manufacturing processes through observation and testing.
  • Utilize statistical methods to assess product samples for quality assurance before delivery.
  • Compare inspection results with company quality standards and report findings for further analysis.
  • Maintain logs, charts, and forms detailing quality levels and inspection data for review.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to recommend actions for products that raise quality concerns.
  • Keep accurate quality records as necessary.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
