About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team as an Owner's Representative for a DoD client. The successful candidate will provide quality assurance inspections and construction management services to ensure compliance with project design, specifications, and contract documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct quality assurance inspections and provide reports to the Government
  • Assist in site evaluations, field surveys, and site visits to determine constructability and code compliance
  • Work with estimators and project managers to plan and estimate future construction projects
  • Ensure construction contractors implement effective Quality Management processes
  • Research and understand quality construction work in structural concrete, foundation bearing soils preparation, mechanical systems, and interior finishes
  • Prepare daily QA reports, project status briefings, and technical reports
  • Work independently and as part of an Integrated Project Team to deliver for the client
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management with 5+ years of construction experience
  • 10+ years of relevant construction management technical experience with a current U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) or U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Construction Quality Management for Contractors certification
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Public Trust clearance (HSPD-12 fingerprint background check)
