As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Completing daily transactions and tasks related to the financial operation of the community, including collecting and posting rent, fees, and other payments, preparing deposits, and financial reports
- Reviewing and submitting invoices from vendors and service providers for payment
- Reviewing resident files and accounting records, communicating with residents regarding outstanding balances, and implementing procedures for collecting on delinquencies
- Processing resident move-outs by reviewing lease terms and notice requirements
- Following up on service requests with the maintenance team and ensuring resident requests have been completed
- Generating interest in the community's unique features and benefits and highlighting what sets it apart from the competition
- Promoting resident satisfaction by serving as a resource for residents to express their concerns and assist with resolution
- Acting as the onsite supervisor in the absence of the Property Manager
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent, with a college degree being a plus
- A valid driver's license
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Industry software experience (YARDI, One Site, etc.)
- The ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner
- A willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
