About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Account Executive to join our Group Benefit Sales team in Atlanta, GA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining business relationships to meet or exceed established sales goals, quotas, or objectives by working directly with groups with up to 5,000 lives in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned territory and products, assessing impacts, and collaborating with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of LFG's products, services, and operational structure to enhance ability to identify and target sales growth opportunities.
  • Provide education, information, training, and advice on Lincoln's products and services (including sales support tools, marketing ideas, etc.) to assigned Advisors, Registered Representatives, Brokers, and/or Plan Sponsor/Participants.
  • Build and maintain business relationships through effective communication via email, phone, and in-person with internal/external stakeholders in a customer-centric and professional demeanor.
  • Develop and execute basic plans to increase/gain opportunities to introduce Lincoln's products/services, management, and other resources to stakeholders.
  • Identify, recommend, and champion process improvements and organizational initiatives to positively influence the team and quality.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in intermediary sales that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Pay Range

$194,000 - $481,000. Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency, and qualifications required for the role.

The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit, and individual.

Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives, and Lincoln's standard benefits package.
