Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Corporate Paralegal to support our esteemed legal department.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in our corporate legal operations, delivering extensive legal assistance to our attorneys.

This role includes a variety of responsibilities such as drafting legal documents, performing legal research, and assisting with real estate escrow and title issues.

The ideal candidate should possess at least 5 years of relevant experience and a robust understanding of corporate law and real estate transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive paralegal support to the corporate legal team, including drafting, revising, and finalizing legal documents and agreements.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on various corporate and real estate matters.
  • Oversee all facets of real estate transactions, including escrow and title matters.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of legal documents to government entities.
  • Coordinate and manage the due diligence process in real estate transactions.
  • Maintain an organized and current filing system for all legal documents.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, attorneys, and court officials.
  • Stay informed about changes in corporate and real estate law, ensuring compliance at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Corporate Paralegal, ideally in a law firm or corporate legal department.
  • Extensive experience in real estate transactions, particularly with real estate escrow and title.
  • Proficient in legal research and drafting legal documents.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software.
  • A proactive work approach, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion, with the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Paralegal certification is preferred but not mandatory.
