Working Hours: Aligned with The NYSE (NY), 6 AM – 2 PM

Compensation: $75,000 - $95,000 or more, commensurate with experience, plus an annual discretionary bonus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a meticulous Credit Risk Manager to evaluate potential clients' creditworthiness and enhance our risk assessment procedures. Your role will encompass onboarding new accounts, conducting financial analyses, and overseeing compliance and operational projects as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of risk management principles, regulatory frameworks, and trade surveillance, along with experience in account onboarding and financial analysis.

Credit Risk Manager Duties:
  • Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing clients by analyzing financial statements, credit histories, and other pertinent data.
  • Regularly monitor customer credit accounts to identify potential risks and recommend credit limit adjustments.
  • Develop and enforce credit risk management strategies and policies.
  • Analyze trends related to credit risk and propose strategies to mitigate identified risks.
Analyst Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct financial and process analyses to support various departments and business lines.
  2. Perform trade surveillance to detect potential regulatory violations and market misconduct, utilizing advanced tools to identify suspicious trading patterns.
  3. Engage in compliance and operational projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. 3-5 years of experience in risk management, credit monitoring, financial analysis, and compliance within the financial services sector.
  2. Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  3. Familiarity with securities regulations, including SEC and FINRA requirements.
  4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
  5. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business administration; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
  6. Preferred, but not required, FINRA licenses: SIE, 7, and 63; optional licenses: 24 and 14.
  7. Experience with Instinet, Bloomberg TOMS & CMGR is preferred but not mandatory.
