Position Overview:

We are on the lookout for a talented and experienced Systems Integrator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the design, execution, and enhancement of Building Management Systems (BMS) for various automation projects.

Your primary responsibilities will involve providing support to our current clientele, managing system upgrades, and collaborating with the team to develop comprehensive Building Management Systems. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the seamless operation of our wireless components, which are essential for the efficient functioning of our clients' building automation systems.

Basic programming knowledge in FIN is expected, and we are willing to provide training for candidates with foundational skills in IP, networking, and programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program wireless sensors and integrate them into our Eboxes, which convert Enocean signals to BacNet over IP or MQTT for server communication.
  • Configure Eboxes with the appropriate networking protocols.
  • Collaborate with the client's IT department to ensure EBoxes are accessible on their network.
  • Create graphics, sequences of operation, and control systems using our Venergy software or Edge unit programming in FIN.
  • Provide labor and expertise for the development and delivery of graphical user interfaces as per project requirements.
  • Assess equipment needs and components necessary for optimal system performance while proactively identifying potential issues.
  • Execute integration services for third-party legacy systems utilizing established software drivers, BacNet, LON, and Modbus protocols.
  • Offer technical support and training to end users as needed.
  • Complete all necessary documentation related to work performed or contractual obligations.
  • Troubleshoot local controllers, communication wiring, programs, and schedules to identify and rectify issues.
  • Ensure the functionality of Measurement and Verification (M&V) equipment, including accurate data recording and storage.
  • Conduct installations, start-ups, and commissioning as required.
  • Engage in project pre-planning processes and lead execution efforts.
  • Evaluate scope changes and additional work orders.
  • Mentor junior technicians.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in Building Automation.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in computer systems and various operating platforms.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with electronics and basic electrical circuits.
  • Knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems.
  • Computer and networking proficiency.
  • Familiarity with building automation systems for standard control.
  • Working knowledge of BACnet control systems.
  • Understanding of RF protocols such as EnOcean and Lora.
