The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of Quality Assurance for mechanical, plumbing, and controls systems, as well as the ability to read and understand engineering drawings, including wiring, architecture, and sequences.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of mechanical, plumbing, and controls systems, identifying and addressing any deficiencies or issues.
- Engineering Drawings: Read and understand engineering drawings, including wiring, architecture, and sequences, and suggest changes as needed.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate work with other trades and upper-tier contractors to accomplish the company's startup and commissioning tasks effectively.
- Installation and Verification: Inspect the physical installation, document, and report any deficiencies to the project manager or direct electrical subcontractor.
- Control System Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on building automation systems and associated components according to the service maintenance agreement.
- System Testing and Verification: Test and verify system readings to ensure optimal system operation, including trend logs, alarms, loop tuning, and other performance metrics.
- Experience: Three to five years of experience in facilities automation, building management systems, or a related field.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of electrical and mechanical drawings, ability to read and interpret, and experience with DDC software programming.
- Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering or a related field, and relevant certifications, such as OSHA safety standards.
