Position Overview:

The Sales Order Specialist (SOS) will be instrumental in enhancing relationships and driving revenue growth within C-1 Inc's established customer network. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to engage in strategic, solution-oriented selling, showcasing our comprehensive range of applications. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager, Sales Support, Sales Directors, Account Executives, and Solution Architects to devise strategic sales methodologies.
  • Establish and nurture ongoing relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, troubleshooting account or order management issues.
  • Manage customer orders efficiently, utilizing the CRM system, preparing accurate order packages, and liaising with Account Executives, Procurement, Project Management, and customers throughout the sales and delivery process.
  • Enhance deal profitability by leveraging original equipment manufacturer (OEM) programs and promotions.
  • Utilize manufacturer tools to secure and maintain deal registrations and/or special pricing.
  • Work in conjunction with Account Executives and Regional Renewal Managers to monitor the contract renewal schedule and keep the CRM Contract Renewal Dashboard updated.
  • Ensure order accuracy and compliance with C-1 Inc's best practices regarding margin percentages, discounts, and integrity.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, actively participating in relevant organizations to enhance sales knowledge.
  • Maintain current knowledge of company policies and procedures, ensuring clarity with the Director when questions arise, and be prepared to discuss these policies with clients.

Additional Duties:

  • Assist during peak periods such as month-end, quarter-end, and year-end to ensure timely processing of all orders.
  • Support and assist other team members when order volumes are high or during PTO coverage.
  • Participate in internal and external training sessions to continually enhance technical expertise on products, solutions, and order processes.
  • Collaborate with the Director on task forces and internal projects as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and present these ideas to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a business-related field.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in sales or business roles.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and energetic, with a sense of urgency.
  • Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Adept at absorbing technical information and executing effectively.
  • Strong problem identification and resolution skills.
  • Familiarity with third-party manufacturer tools, business processes, and sales engagement models.
