Bilingual Property Operations Manager

OBJECTIVE
The Bilingual Property Operations Manager oversees the daily management of the residential community and associated buildings. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional service to tenants, ensuring efficient property operations, and fulfilling necessary administrative responsibilities. The position reports directly to the Regional Property Manager and requires proficiency in both Korean and English.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Timely and accurate coding of invoices for managerial approval.
- Maintaining resident documentation in accordance with relevant affordable housing and state regulations.
- Utilizing property management software to ensure accurate representation of current operational conditions.
- Responsible for the collection of rent and other revenues, ensuring prompt deposit and recording of receipts.
- Preparing and distributing notices to residents regarding lease violations, terminations, inspections, and work orders.
- Coordinating move-in dates with maintenance schedules to ensure readiness.
- Managing the leasing process from initial application through to resident move-in.
- Adhering to and enforcing all fair housing and landlord-tenant laws and regulations.
- Effectively marketing the property to achieve occupancy targets and foster a positive community image.
- Ensuring the property meets established financial performance metrics.
- Handling customer service inquiries and ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolutions.
- Collaborating with the site team and residents to foster a healthy community, enhance on-site communication, and monitor property objectives.
- Maintaining a waiting list in compliance with federal regulations, ensuring a sufficient number of pre-qualified applicants for timely move-ins.
- Enforcing agency regulations, lease agreements, and community guidelines.
- Overseeing maintenance staff to ensure timely unit turnovers, efficient invoice processing, and maintaining excellent property aesthetics.
- Accurately recording daily time in the timecard reporting system.
- Performing additional related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS

- Proficient in using computers for property management software, word processing, spreadsheets, email, and web browsing.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Office and building settings.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Limited travel may be required for errands or inter-property visits and attendance at training events.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; training in property or real estate management is preferred.
- Experience: 1-2 years in hospitality, office management, or administrative roles; professional training may substitute for experience.
