YOUR ROLE

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be essential in ensuring the safety and functionality of our residential properties. Your day will begin with reviewing maintenance requests from residents and property management. You will be a hands-on problem solver, addressing a variety of repairs, including plumbing, electrical, painting, and drywall work. Your meticulous attention to detail will be crucial as you complete apartment turnovers, ensuring units are refreshed and ready for new residents. Throughout the day, you will engage with residents, providing exceptional customer service and promptly addressing maintenance issues. Safety is paramount, so you will adhere to regulations and maintain a tidy, organized workspace.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential maintenance.
  • Fundamental knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and drywall installation and repairs.
  • Physical capability to operate janitorial equipment, handle chemicals, and lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Must provide own tools.
  • Basic computer, phone, and technology skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance with reliable transportation.

Certification as a Maintenance Technician from Multi-Family NW Association or similar is preferred but not mandatory. Experience in flooring installation and repair is also a plus. Bilingual skills in Spanish and English are advantageous.

SCHEDULE

Full-time positions require 40 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday, with flexibility for customer needs and on-call emergency services. Part-time schedules range from 10 to 25 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, making it ideal for skilled technicians seeking supplemental income with customizable hours.
