Role Summary:

The Property Management Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial stability of our property management operations. This position involves aligning with our clients' financial objectives, adhering to regulatory standards, and enhancing our internal accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all financial transactions related to property management, including rent processing for various portfolios.

• Supervise and track multiple Client Trust Accounts.

• Conduct mortgage and bank reconciliations.

• Generate monthly financial statements and reports.

• Analyze delinquency reports in collaboration with management.

• Demonstrate proficiency in producing and interpreting financial documents using Yardi, Excel, and other software.

• Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards set by relevant authorities.

• Oversee vendor billing and payment processes, maintaining accurate accounts payable records.

• Ensure precise journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.

• Provide financial reports and statements to stakeholders and clients.

• Handle billback allocations and collaborate on compliance matters.

• Assist in budget planning and financial assessments.

• Process tenant move-in and move-out transactions in Yardi.

• Manage 1099 processing and tax documentation.

• Support various departments as needed.

Qualifications:

• Preferred: Oregon Licensed Property Manager or willingness to obtain within 90 days.

• Minimum of 5 years in Property Management and 3 years in accounting/bookkeeping, ideally within property management.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to analyze complex financial documents and provide clear explanations.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with database applications.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to serving a diverse community.
