Job Summary

The Associate Director of University Corporate and Foundation Relations is a key member of the Columbia University team, responsible for building and maintaining relationships with corporations and foundations to secure funding for University initiatives and programs.

This role requires a strong understanding of the corporate and foundation landscape, as well as excellent communication and research skills. The ideal candidate will be able to develop and implement strategies for building the corporate donor pipeline, conduct prospect research, and draft proposals and other donor-facing materials.

The Associate Director will work closely with faculty and staff to identify opportunities for corporate engagement and provide administrative support for proposal development and submission. This role also involves leading the acknowledgment letters process for Corporate and Foundation gifts and grants, as well as managing the process of providing accurate and timely reports and other stewardship materials to corporate and foundation donors.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of three to five years of work experience in a foundation/corporate relations office of a research university or equivalent. Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle confidential information with excellent judgment and discretion, are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
