Business Development Opportunity

Baldwin Supply Company is seeking an experienced Industrial Sales Account Manager to expand our business throughout the state of Iowa. As a key member of our sales team, you'll play a critical part in promoting power transmission, conveyor belting, electric motor, automation and industrial supply products from Baldwin.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recommend products and services with the best combination of performance and cost based on customer requirements.
  • Create strategic plans to turn prospects into customers.
  • Build and sustain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Constantly promote Baldwin's value by providing best-in-class customer service and technical expertise.
  • Maintain professional working relationships with strategic suppliers to Baldwin.
  • Participate in company-sponsored sales and technical training sessions.
Salary and Benefits

A competitive base salary of $80,000 per year, plus commissions, provides a total compensation package that rewards performance. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k with a match, life insurance, short and long-term disability, and unlimited Paid Time Off, we offer workplace flexibility.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of proven outside industrial sales experience with a tangible product.
  • Proven experience and success in developing new business, building repeat business, and managing a sales territory.
  • Established client relationships in the state of Iowa.
  • A High School Diploma or GED; a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Supply, or Business is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication and presentation skills, and strong computer skills.
