Position Summary
We are looking for a skilled Retail Team Lead to enhance our operations in Belmont, Massachusetts. This role is ideal for proactive leaders eager to thrive in the cannabis sector. Weekend availability is essential, and all shifts are open.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Duties:
- Oversee opening and closing procedures.
- Facilitate the flow of retail operations to ensure excellent customer service.
- Uphold company standards to maintain superior customer interactions.
- Manage patient inquiries and complaints, enhancing the overall customer experience.
- Verify patient allotments for purchases and ensure product quality and display.
- Assist in scheduling team members effectively.
- Communicate operational concerns to management.
- Support management in ensuring compliance with regulations and smooth store operations.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor store associates to promote high performance and customer satisfaction.
- Encourage a positive team environment through constructive coaching.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the store and stockroom.
- Engage in ongoing professional development.
- Delegate tasks to team members as needed.
- Customer Engagement:
- Deliver exceptional service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Handle cash transactions accurately.
- Sales Management:
- Drive sales by setting targets and implementing strategies to enhance profitability.
- Required Skills:
- Ability to lift merchandise up to 50 lbs.
- Capability to stand for extended periods.
- Proficient in operating POS systems and computers.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of cannabis products and regulations in Massachusetts.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience:
- Leadership: 1 year
- Customer service: 1 year
- Cannabis industry: 1 year
- Availability: Flexible scheduling, including day, night, and weekend shifts.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Background Check: Must pass a CORI background check and be eligible for registration with the CCC.
