We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Concrete Technician to join our team at GeoStabilization International. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for creating custom concrete projects, working alongside experienced technicians, and supporting our core operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sculpting vertical concrete walls made of shotcrete
- Creating varied surfaces like stacked stone, geologic, and ashlar
- Reading and determining measurements
- Maintaining a clean and organized construction site
- Working together in a team environment
- Learning to operate rock drills
- Operating construction equipment such as excavators, all-terrain forklifts, man lifts, skid steers, and front-end loaders
Requirements:
- Prior concrete experience, such as a concrete finisher or form builder, or shotcrete experience
- Ability to travel at least 3 weeks out of every month
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- Enthusiastic team player
Work Environment:
- Climates vary in degrees, in tropical to desert environments
- Noise level in the work environment is moderate, and hearing protection is often required
- Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers
- Regular heavy lifting (50lbs+) of construction materials on the job site
