Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Concrete Technician to join our team at GeoStabilization International. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for creating custom concrete projects, working alongside experienced technicians, and supporting our core operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sculpting vertical concrete walls made of shotcrete
  • Creating varied surfaces like stacked stone, geologic, and ashlar
  • Reading and determining measurements
  • Maintaining a clean and organized construction site
  • Working together in a team environment
  • Learning to operate rock drills
  • Operating construction equipment such as excavators, all-terrain forklifts, man lifts, skid steers, and front-end loaders

Requirements:

  • Prior concrete experience, such as a concrete finisher or form builder, or shotcrete experience
  • Ability to travel at least 3 weeks out of every month
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic
  • Enthusiastic team player

Work Environment:

  • Climates vary in degrees, in tropical to desert environments
  • Noise level in the work environment is moderate, and hearing protection is often required
  • Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers
  • Regular heavy lifting (50lbs+) of construction materials on the job site
