Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Field Technician to join our team at Stevenson Consulting, Inc. in Norfolk, VA. As a key member of our geotechnical engineering team, you will be responsible for observing and testing samples of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, and asphalt.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct field tests and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Prepare detailed reports and assist with laboratory testing
  • Interact with clients and team members to provide excellent customer service

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Work experience in the construction industry
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving history
  • Ability to pass a background screen
