Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Technician to join our team at Waveforce Electrical. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of complex electrical systems on ships, barges, and submarines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expertly install, test, and repair shipboard electrical cabling and electronic equipment, including cable installations, bonding, and grounding.
  • Interpret and breakdown work scope from blueprints and drawings, and create detailed work plans and schedules.
  • Lead multiple electronic teams in the execution of multiple electronics work items or ship alterations, and track and report job physical progress and budgets.
  • Perform all work in accordance with established policies and procedures, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years direct experience in shipboard electronic installation and repair services.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and a U.S. Citizen.
  • NSI 009-73 Qualified Connector Fabrication Certification and NSI 009-123 Fiber Optic Handling, Termination and Testing Certification required.
