Opportunity: Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn and grow within the construction industry recruitment field. You will work closely with and report directly to the HR Manager, receiving guidance and mentorship to ensure your success.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with department heads to understand their staffing needs and contribute to the development of compelling job descriptions.
  • Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans to attract top talent within the construction sector.
  • Source, screen, and manage candidates for a variety of positions, including project managers, superintendents, engineers, and estimators.
  • Oversee the entire recruitment cycle, from job postings to candidate interviews and offer negotiations, with support and mentorship.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates through networking, referrals, and other sourcing methods.
  • Conduct thorough reference checks on potential hires.
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools to efficiently manage candidate information and the recruitment process.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in construction recruitment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • No more than 2 years of experience in recruiting, HR, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using or willingness to learn applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Employment Type: Full Time

Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 Per year
