We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at Schweiger Dermatology Group. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance quality of service and care offered to patients and for respective provider(s)
  • Assisting Providers: Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures
  • Recording Information: Assist provider in recording prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions, prior authorization and procedures within established guidelines
  • Preparation and Maintenance: Prep rooms before and after patients, including checking all equipment at the beginning of each shift to ensure all is in proper working order
  • Inventory Management: Daily scan all retail and cosmetic products and medical supplies and alert Head MA and/or GM of any low level supplies
  • Continuing Education: Attend all in-house training and continued education opportunities
Requirements:
  • Healthcare Experience: Healthcare experience preferred
  • Certifications: Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred
  • Technical Skills: Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Availability: Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends
