Sales Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Support Specialist to join our Individual Sales team at Worldwide Insurance Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and customer service, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support a large broker network via telephone and email.
- Work with enrollment/accounts payable teams to address accounting/billing issues.
- Support the team with Quality Assurance and ongoing website testing.
- Provide Salesforce support when needed.
- Take a lead role for correspondence between the sales team and their clients.
- Support the Sales process by assisting the Sales Directors and Managers in the creation of proposals.
- Provide accurate and concise sales reports within short timelines.
- Conduct research in preparation for trade shows and other sales events and make prudent and focused recommendations.
- Manage all logistics of Conferences, including exhibit and individual registration, packing and shipping of materials, negotiating with vendors and customs, managing the set-up and take-down of all exhibits, negotiating and setting up vendors for special events and client dinners, managing advertising and giveaways, recording and tracking all expenses in accordance with stated budget, and managing all contact data from conferences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Experience and/or knowledge in Health Insurance and/or the sale of health Insurance preferred.
- Will require a Health & Accident license, which can be obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.
- Ability to perform work accurately, thoroughly and on time even under stressful conditions.
- Self-confidence to facilitate completion of a work assignment or to defend a position or idea required.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to take care of the customers' needs while following company procedures.
- Organizational, dependability, and trustworthiness skills are a must.
- Internet and Microsoft Office Applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) experience needed.
- Salesforce experience preferred.
- Employee is required to have at minimum an internet speed of 75 Mbps (standard high-speed internet access).
- Bilingual Spanish and/or Portuguese candidates are highly preferred.
