Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the close-ended Fundraising Management team in all stages of the fundraising life cycle
  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to generate investor interest and drive momentum
  • Manage relationships across multiple stakeholder groups, including Diligence Management, Marketing & Content, Client Relationship Management, Investor Relations, Legal, Compliance, Finance & Operations, and the Investment Teams and Product Specialists
  • Coordinate road shows, conferences, diligence sessions, and investor meetings
  • Act as senior representative in GCG leadership meetings, as required
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for the development and retention of junior team members, creating and promoting effective training programs for new team members
Requirements:
  • Post-graduate degree in finance, business management, or another relevant discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in fundraising for private fund strategies or investments
  • Demonstrated understanding of the LP landscape and preferences, styles, and requirements across key regions and investor types
  • Strong strategy/product knowledge and ability to communicate details of fund approach
  • Strong investment and financial analytical capabilities and investment reporting experience
  • Experience in high-volume processes and technology-enabled solutions
  • Experience in real estate, infrastructure, and/or private equity asset classes strongly preferred
  • Institutional fund marketing sales and support experience strongly preferred
